The service works with adults and young people aged 16+ with a range of presenting issues including: anxiety, depression, bereavement and loss, self-esteem issues, relationship issues, trauma, work related issues and stress.
At Hannah Ruby counselling sessions provide a safe space to talk. People from all walks of life with a variety of issues may decide to have counselling. All sessions are kept confidential however, there are some exceptions when confidentiality is broken such as if the client or someone else is in harm. This will be discussed more in-depth in the first session.
Integrative therapy is offered combining person centred counselling, CBT and attachment theory to meet the needs of the client.
