Hampshire itself is the third largest shire county in England, and includes a wide variety of towns, cities and villages, all set in beautiful countryside. The main areas for legal work are around Portsmouth, Southampton, Basingstoke, Aldershot, Winchester and Andover.
Law firms range from large offices of regional firms through to smaller high street practices and specialist LAA funded firms dealing solely with crime and family law etc.. There remain a large number of traditional firms with 2-5 partners on high streets in smaller towns and suburbs, and some growth in the more modern industrial park practice types.
