After intensive music studies, the youthful, charismatic Lyell Gustin established his Piano Studios in 1920 at a brand new residence, 512 Tenth Street, Saskatoon. During the next 70 years, hundreds of students took lessons at this gracious though modest house, and went forward profoundly enriched by music, many into professional musical careers, and others to educational, cultural, civic and community roles.
