At the heart of Golden State Minority Foundation were its programs that support the education of low-income and minority students. California’s public schools have made advances in raising the overall number of classes taught by highly qualified teachers, but still lag in the number of experienced teachers working in high-poverty schools.
Golden State Minority Foundation will focus mainly on K-12 education and literacy projects through our existing Educational Enrichment Support Project (EESP). While this is now a national trend, we have always believed there is an urgent need to start early and prepare our young people for college and life.
With your help, the Golden State Minority Foundation provides inner city youth with the chance to learn first-hand, the lessons taught in and out of the classroom.
