I spent nearly 30 years as a professional in the property business, studying at the College of Estate Management, and winning the Leeland Prize for Valuation in 1991. I was a Fellow of the RICS and hold their post graduate Diploma in Building Conservation. I worked for firms large and small before establishing my own practice in 1995, which I decided to sell in 2007.
