While the western part of Maui has suffered tragic damage from wildfires, locations in eastern Maui such as Hana and Waiʻānapanapa State Park have not been directly impacted and remain open . In response to the devastation in Lahaina and travel challenges, visitors with existing reservations are being offered refunds.
Please be patient as we process a high volume of refunds, and we ask for you understanding as some of our staff have been impacted by this tragedy as well.
Advance reservations are now required for all vehicles, walk-in entry, and PUC vehicles visiting Waiʻānapanapa State Park. Plan your trip accordingly. Reservations may be made up to 30 days in advance, and no later than the day before your visit*.
