NZO Adoption
On March 3, 2020, City Council adopted the NZO. The NZO took effect on April 3, 2020.
The City of Goleta's New Zoning Ordinance (NZO) project was a collaborative process that revised citywide zoning regulations to implement the General Plan, update development and design standards and permitting procedures, and help realize the community's vision for the future – a safe, beautiful, vibrant and livable community with a robust local economy and a sustainable relationship with the environment.
