Mike Reid co-founded Goldster in 2021 with Mark Carter. As such he is CEO of the UK’s leading healthy ageing platform, which researches and delivers non drug interventions for the over 50s. He currently tries to keep up with living the Goldster life in Dumfrieshire and London.
Mike was brought up in Dumfries, Scotland. He had a first career as a Bond Trader in New York, and then round the world. Prompted by his late Mother, Mike founded Care Visions in 1998 to deliver new models of care for children & young people in Scotland. Care Visions & it’s sister Charity ‘Why Not’, works with hundreds of vulnerable and promising young people across Scotland now, from Dumfries to Aberdeen.
