Dubai, UAE – COMICAVE™, the world’s largest comics and collectibles superstore at Dubai Outlet Mall, is excited to announce its participation in Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) in addition to hosting Vol. 3 of Sandbox Swapmeet, UAE’s premier community meetup. The global event will take place on Saturday, 6 th May , 2023, at the COMICAVE™ store in Dubai Outlet Mall, Dubai, UAE to promote pop culture and encourage reading in line with UAE’s drive towards literature advocacy.
As part of this international event, COMICAVE™ will be giving away free special release comics from top publishers such as Marvel, Valiant, Boom! Studios, Archie Comics, Titan Comics, Kodansha, Viz Media, and more, exclusively on this day.
In addition to the free comics, COMICAVE™ will also host three international comic artists, Marco Santucci, Maria Laura Sanapo, and Des Taylor, who have worked for publishers such as Marvel, DC, Dynamite, and Titan Comics. Fans will have the opportunity to meet the artists, get their comics signed, and even commission original artwork. They will be joined by local artists such as Sachi Ediriweera, Leroy Fernandes and the team of Wayl, among other local talents whom the fans can interact with personally.
