My First Time Fishing Yes, that’s me at 5 years old with a cane pole in hand fishing for the very first time. I’m waiting for that little round, white, and red bobber, several feet from shore to do its dance. You know, bob up and down, move side to side, and with some luck, be pulled under the water by a fish. Heck, after all the hook was baited with a chunky piece of night crawler, which I dug up the evening before and put in an old coffee can full of dirt ready for this day. I sit and wait for the bobber
