We were formed in 1930 and played at Connel Park, in the heart of the miners’ rows, in the parish of New Cumnock, Ayrshire, Scotland. We were members of the Scottish Junior Football Association (S.J.F.A.). and our colours were white and black.
In 1960 we moved to the purpose built Loch Park close to where the River Afton flows gently into the River Nith at the heart of town of New Cumnock. At that time we changed our colours to red and white. We are known as ‘The Glens’ or ‘The Afton’.
In April 2020 we joined the West of Scotland Football (WoSFL) whilst retaining our membership of the SJFA and in June 2023 the club was granted SFA Membership.
