From 2006 on GJ had earned his rank in autocross and was off to SCCA Solo II National Tour events and then eventually the National Tour Championship. He was immediately winning and placing on the podium consistently. His skills began to get recognition amongst the greatest names in autocross and with the wins, his skills and his approachability, GJ began getting invitations to codrive with other drivers.
