From the influence of our parents and looking to the colourful food stalls and markets of the beautiful Philippines for inspiration, 'Gimasen' strives to bring the delicious and unique tastes of the far east to the streets of London. 'Gimasen' meaning 'delicious' in Ilocano (a filpino dialect) is the perfect word to describe our Filipino cuisine.
While the British have heard about Asian cuisine, there's little knowledge about how good Filipino street food is... this gave best friends, Krys and Jen the drive to set up their own pop-up eatery and delivery service to put Filipino cuisine and culture in the spotlight.
