Catherine\u2019s interest in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) was sparked when she was very young. Her mother began a personal path to wellness in her fight with cancer via alternative therapies. Catherine felt her mother\u2019s relief and witnessed how healthy and full of energy she was even while her health was under attack. Her father sought treatment for back pain during a heart condition with acupuncture. This positive influence grew over time, and Catherine eventually began her studies in TCM.
