The Georgetown Pickleball Association is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization formed in July 2021 to support pickleballers residing in Georgetown, Texas, neighboring cities and of course to those out of town guests wanting some good healthy fun, while in our great little city.
Our vision is to be the leading advocate for the rapidly growing sport of pickleball in Georgetown, Texas. This will be accomplished through education, training, community involvement, social events, and amateur competitions; and, by identifying and supporting needed expansion of facilities in our area.
We will strive to promote a pickleball environment that is friendly, safe, inclusive, and fun, while still encouraging competitive play. We will promote the principles that all players should be treated equally, sportsmanship is more important than winning, strong competition is good but should not be relentless and that mutual respect is important.
