So with the advent of this news, Cleveland Guardians , my Grandfather becomes “The Last Man” to ever pitch a world series winning game for the Cleveland Indians. In some respects I have great pride in the fact that his place in baseball and the “Tribe’s” history is forever cemented. In other respects I wish they didn’t feel the need to change and buckle under that social pressure. I also wonder if the fans had any say?
