A little background... Life Day started as a Wookiee holiday celebrated by the inhabitants of the planet Kashyyyk. It was the celebration of an ancient tree that the Wookies believed was the source of all life. It was also a time to remember family members who had died, and the young ones who continued to bring new life to a family.
Now some lifeforms celebrate Life Day on November 17th, which coincides with the airing of the original 1978 Star Wars Holiday TV Special, but for some, that day represents the day a great horror was released upon this world (that same TV special), and they prefer to celebrate Life Day at other times. Many on Earth celebrate it during the traditional winter solstice-based holidays, while others celebrate it on their birthday. Anyway, on to the cookbook… it’s great! I thought it might be only full of gimmicky Star Wars food like blue milk, but it’s much more substantial. There are tons of really healthy land delicious looking meals in here, for instance the Roasted Rootleaf. But rebel scum, don’t be too disappointed, it is also full of gimmicky but really nicely done Star Wars food… like the Bantha milk hot chocolate. Mmmm.
