My use of the word gebesucht started in my high school german classes as a result of my amusement with mutilating words and their pronunciations (ie pronouncing "knife" as ka-nii-fee). Don't ask me why I do it, I think it has something to do with my love of puns. The word gebesucht was my combination of the verb besucht, which is the past tense of the verb besuchen (defined "to visit"), and the common practice in the german language of making a verb past tense by adding "ge" to the front.
However, besucht is already the past tense of besuchen, so I believed by adding the "ge" prefix I was just mutilating a word as a joke with my friends. However upon further searching I have found various uses of the word, whether correct or incorrect I am not sure. Altavista's babelfish translator defines the word as "give-searched", whatever that may mean.
