Artsoft has been providing software tools for hobbiests since 2001 with the development of Mach3 CNC , and with the Gearotic Project since 2006. Its main program , Gearotic , is a program used to design gears, pulleys and mechanisms, and to allow simulation and graphical display. It can also provide toolpaths for accurate gears, pulleys and sprockets. It includes many free modules in its distribution. It is an eclectic selection of tools for the DIY hobbiest.
The Gearheads Forum is free and open to anyone. You must request admission however as it is our method of stopping bot traffic and spammers. It is the spot for advice of help on any DIY topic from CNC to 3d printing and of course Gearotics modules. All the downloadable software can be found on the Forum.
