USDA Organic is a good start, but often lays plastic over the planting beds to avoid spraying pesticides and retain water. That plastic comes from oil, micro-particles can leech into the soil and needs to be disposed of at then end of the season. Our plants are grown regeneratively / biodynamic: hand planted, weeded, and harvested without any plastics or synthetics whatsoever.
Our mushrooms are whole fruiting body mushrooms: no powders, imports, or mycelium (which is mostly grain).
