Welcome, friends! Winter is over in Western PA and that means spring cleaning and home improvement season has begun. I’ve got a number of projects that I would like to do this summer, but before I get started there are a few cleanup projects that I want to do first. This week I’ll talk about a few of those projects and some tips you can follow to get the most of your spring cleaning activities.
Lawn, Landscaping, and outdoor cleanup – Now that the snow is done and the ground has thawed, my mess of a lawn has revealed itself once more. I was going to ask my usual lawn guy to spread some lawn treatment for me a few times over the summer, but after some research I found that Scott’s lawn service is really reasonably priced. As I mentioned in my last post, I looked for a landscaper and found one who was willing to do all of my landscaping cleanup for a great price. He is going to fill all of the beds around my house with fresh mulch, trim all of the plants and bushes around the yard, and surround my patio with some marble stones to keep the weeds from growing. Once he has done all of that, and the weather warms up a bit more, I’ll had some hanging flowers to add some color to the yard.
