The Dobie Paisano Fellowship Program provides Texas writers with the opportunity to work in a secluded environment. The program's writing fellows spend four months at the Paisano Ranch near Austin, Texas, where they have the freedom and privacy to fully explore their talents.
Friends of Paisano is a private non-profit 501c (3) charitable organization formed to support The Dobie Paisano Fellowship and Dobie Ranch. The Board of Directors of Friends of Paisano is comprised of long time supporters of the Fellowship, Fellows who have written and lived on Dobie Ranch. Their mission is to provide financial support to sustain the Ranch and extend the facilities capabilities to provide access to those who understand its unique setting and share the passion to preserve its heritage.
