We are Brighton’s very own mandolin orchestra currently with around 25 players from the City and surrounding areas. The group, which consists of instruments of the mandolin family plus guitars and basses, was founded in 1995 with the goal of reviving the tradition of mandolin orchestras, which were hugely popular in the UK up until the 1930s. Two Mandolin Orchestras – Brighton Fringe Concert 2023
This year we are very excited to welcome an orchestra from Holland to join us for our annual visit to the Fringe. The Fusion Mandolin Orchestra, conducted by Danielle De Rover, will just perform once during their short visit to the UK. The venue is St Mary’s Church, Kemp Town. Friday 5th May at 7.30. Join us for what will be a hugely entertaining evening. The program will include Beethoven, Bach, Coldplay, Queen and lots more.
