Description: The Fox River & Countryside Fire/Rescue District protects more than 25,000 residents over 38 square miles. The district provides fire supression, fire prevention and emergency medical services in Kane and DuPage Counties of Illinois. Our primary response areas are in the unicorporated areas of St. Charles and Campton Townships along with the incorporated Villages of Campton Hills and Wayne.

Chief Nixon served as Fire Chief of the District for five years after retiring from Antioch and Streamwood Fire Departments. See
