Frangipani Estate winery label was Established in 2003. Needing a place to call home the Estate was founded in 2005. The Tasting room was built by the family from the floor up. Opening its doors January 2006. Not a bolt or screw or piece of drywall wasn’t established by the Owners. The feeling of the tasting room is one of Old-World Heritage where Family and Friends are first. Then, being met by hand crafted Red and White wines showcasing what the estate is all about.
Frangipani Estate Winery produces approximately 5,000 cases annually. Varietals grown are as follows: Sangiovese, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Petite Sirah, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Verdot, Syrah. All these grapes are handpicked and farmed to perfection. All wine making and bottling is done on property.
Don and JoAnn Frangipani come from a grower’s mentality of where there’s a will there’s a way! The Frangipani’s have been in farming for over three decades. Don Frangipani’s passion for Winemaking was ignited in 1995 at Cilurzo Winery where he began learning how to perfect his art. Building his own style unique to him where reds are bold and full of character and whites crisp and clean. By practicing hard work and perseverance Don and JoAnn have carved their own Estate to call their own.
