Artist Statement
"Art is ordering . . . making shape out of the chaos of real life."* It's the doing that signifies, not the product or its use, public or private. In the beginning, drawing was my way to understand how everything fit together. I didnt' start out to be an artist. I simply drew and painted and gradually, no matter how many fads and fascinations I persued, I couldn't be anything else.
