During times of uncertainty and crisis, people in the Four Corners come together to support one another. COVID-19 has struck particularly hard in our Native American Communities in the region.  Currently, the Navajo Nation suffers the third-highest COVID-19 infection rate in United States, and other Native American Nations are suffering as well.  As members of the Four Corners community are being impacted, this epidemic has become a test of our collective strength.

In response to the devastating COVID-19 outbreak, the Four Corner Chapter of the American Petroleum Institute (“API”) has initiated the 4Corners API COVID19 Tribal Relief Project.  Our goal is to rapidly secure funds to purchase facemasks, antibacterial products, and other critical items needed to attack the spread of the virus on Tribal Lands and to distribute those the items where it’s needed the most.  Additionally, the project aims to provide several API scholarships to candidates living on Four Corners

The 4Corners API is accepting monetary donations to address immediate medical and community needs. Charitable donations to the 4Corners API are deductible by the donor for federal income, estate, and gift tax purposes.
