Description: Fortuan is a Slovak indie rock band. The band is composed of four longtime friends from Bratislava - Jakub Hančin, Tomáš Marikovič, Daniel Štefanovič, and Igor Holka. What brings them together is a shared love for rock music. The band creates modern songs in English language, inspired by their love for their homeland - Slovakia. Fortuan's songs are already being played on several Slovak radio stations.

Music About Concerts Contact Music About Fortuan is a project of four long-time friends from Bratislava who share a love for rock music. Their musical journey began in a cover band called Wooders , playing well-known rock classics throughout Slovakia. However, it didn't take long before they started writing and recording their own music.
They confirmed this musical shift by changing the name of the band to Fortuan - a phonetic transcription of the +421 dialing code for Slovakia - which expresses their love for their home country and, at the same time, they are not afraid to admit their international ambitions.
The band's music builds on the classic rock sound of the second half of the 20th century and enriches it with modern influences. This combination creates an indie rock sound filled with the best that the present has to offer. As a result, listeners of all ages can find something that appeals to them in Fortuan's music.
