Founded in 2015, Footmonkey Podiatry has pushed the boundaries of podiatry care to ensure patients get the best treatment possible. Run by Gwyn Malcolm, BSc Podiatry MCPod, the practice was built from the ashes of an old chiropody clinic and we have moved on from the ‘just nail and corn treatments of old’. We have done this by:
New to 2020 is the pain and rehab clinic. Following on from care already given Footmonkey now utilises ASA class 4 laser therapy for pain management, injury and strains/sprains. This therapy works alongside standard stretching and rehabilitation treatments to significantly reduce your recovery time. For example, plantar fasciitis is reduced down in less than 6 weeks and pain is virtually gone after the first treatment.
