The Fleming Collection furthers an understanding and awareness of Scottish art and creativity through exhibitions, events, publishing and education with an emphasis placed on initiatives outside Scotland.
The collection, which is owned by The Fleming-Wyfold Art Foundation, is considered the finest collection of Scottish art outside public institutions comprising over 600 works from the seventeenth century to the present day.
The four artists known as the Scottish Colourists, S.J.Peploe, J.D. Fergusson, Leslie Hunter, and F.C.B. Cadell are acknowledged as one of the most talented, experimental and distinctive groups in twentieth century British art.
