T he River Tummel is the major tributary of the Tay renowned for its quality salmon fishing.
The River Tay -Tummel salmon fishing season starts on 15 January and closes on 15 October . Prime Spring salmon fishing time is April to June. September and October can provide good salmon fly fishing on the Tummel.
