We are happy to announce that sustainable additions have been made to our cross-country course and our main campus. Through a partnership with Canvus and MHARS, we have been able to add repurposed products to our cross-country course, student courtyard, and the Falcon Stadium that will provide additional use opportunities.
These products, donated from Canvus , are pieces of functional art made from retired wind turbine blades. The majority of pieces (8 in total) are all equipped with QR codes that take the user to mindfulness and athletic opportunities. Multiple pieces will be placed along our cross-country trail and visitors will be able to scan each QR code and decide if they would like to engage in mindful activities or athletic workouts during their time on this newly created wellness trail.
We invite our community to attend the ribbon cutting for our new wellness trail! Please join us on August 29th at 5:30 pm. After the ceremony, you are invited to utilize the new wellness trail and scan the QR codes at each stop!
