Maybe I’m in a minority, but for me a single-player game feels that much lonelier if I’m the only person playing that instance of it. There’s some… comfort? in knowing that other players got their ass kicked by the exact same beast in Tears of the Kingdom. From Software’s basically designed their online implementation around making that global connection explicit. By generating the world at playtime, Starfield loses that.
