2022 Viognier, Marcella Vineyard - This crystal clear wine has a pale straw yellow hue. On the nose you’ll find pear, lemon curd, honeysuckle, spring rain and elderflower. The palate is fresh and silky with balanced acidity and flavors of guava, fresh apricot and nectarine. Pair with spicy foods, fresh herbs and seafood. Stainless steel fermented, aged. 250 cases produced. $25 retail, club $20.
The aromas in this garnet colored wine show ripe bing cherry, dark plum, fig, white pepper, all spice and cocoa dust. The palate is juicy, vibrant and luminous with chewy tannins, reminiscent of a cozy fall sweater, with an explosive dark fruit finish. 100 percent neutral French oak. Only 55 cases produced.
