I’m a Senior Lecturer in Communications and Media at London College of Communication (LCC) – University of the Arts London. Before joining LCC, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Social Media Lab , Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University). I earned my PhD in Communication and Information from Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Brazil in 2020. While at UFRGS, I was awarded a CAPES-PrInt scholarship to study in Canada. In my PhD thesis, I explored problematic dynamics on Twitter, particularly focusing on polarization, disinformation, and intolerance.
