Empire West Youth Football and Cheerleading, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization administered by volunteers from within our membership. Our organizations have been involved in youth football and cheerleading for decades, they decided in 2006 it was time to form a league dedicated to teaching the fundamentals of both sports, along with valuable life skills to our youth participants.
The League requires all coaches to hold youth coaching certifications through the National Alliance for Youth Sports and USA Football. All coaches participating in Empire are required to pass criminal background checks before they take the field to coach our youth. Concerned about our participants’ safety, with the cooperation of local medical facilities, EWYFC had developed a league wide concussion awareness program, teaching coaches, parents and players concussion warning signs and developing appropriate
