Back in 1979 the Pet Gazette was transferred to a new publisher who renamed it Compute. The article in that first issue explained how the transition from a tiny newsletter into a full magazine happened … it evolved! Intelligent people kept improving and expanding it until it was a full sized magazine available in bookstores around the world.
