One of the main keys in reaching people for the kingdom is to build redemptive friendships. This isn’t about making people a project, but about making true friends with the goal of introducing them to Jesus. “Christ’s method alone will give true success in reaching the people. The Saviour mingled with men as one who desired their good. He showed His sympathy for them, ministered to their needs, and won their confidence. Then He bade them, ‘Follow Me.’” The Ministry of Healing (p. 143).
So much of our society is reacting to each other about politics, religion and on social media about all kinds of things. What would it be like if people saw Christians as nice and good? What if we didn’t argue or complain, but we were kind?
