Soprano Erin O’Rourke, is an award-winning operatic soprano and concert recitalist. She has performed with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra , Juilliard Orchestra, Juilliard 415, New Amsterdam Orchestra, and the renowned Verbier Festival Orchestra. Ms. O’Rourke participated in the 2023 Laffont Metropolitan Opera Competition. Placing 1st in the NY District and 2nd in the Eastern Regionals.
The New York native graduated in 2023 with her Masters in Vocal Arts from The Juilliard School. She studied under the tutelage of soprano, Amy Burton. There, she worked with acclaimed directors John Giampetro, Mary Birnbaum, and Steven Wadsworth. Notable performances include Purcell’s King Arthur under Maestro Lionel Meunier with Juilliard 415, Seven Early Songs by Berg at Alice Tully Hall with Juilliard Orchestra, and Nella in Juilliard Opera’s production of Gianni Schicchi.
In 2023, she was announced as one of the prestigious Gerdine Young Artists at Opera Theatre of St. Louis . There, she covered the title role of Susannah in Patricia Racette’s production by Carlisle Floyd. Afterwards, she traveled to Switzerland to join the world renowned Atelier Lyrique at the Verbier Festival . There she performed recitals with distinguished pianist, James Ballieu.
