Founded and directed by Erik Battaglia, the Centro Studi Eric Sams is named in memory of the great English musicologist and Shakespeare scholar, b. 1926, d. 2004. It has the primary aim of develop ing the research in the field of the German Lied. Among the projects of the Centro Studi :
