Erick Friedman, the renowned American virtuoso violinist, had a truly outstanding career as a performer. He made his New York debut at the age of fourteen, and at seventeen began studying with Jascha Heifetz , wth whom he recorded Bach's Concerto for Two Violins. In addition to his activities as a performing and recording artist, Mr. Friedman was one of the most sought out pedagogues on the violin. He held distinguished professorships most notably at the Manhattan School of Music and Yale University.
