The nearest primary school in the area is in the village of Lowdham, about 1 mile away, and Colonel Frank Seely secondary school is in Calverton about 1 and a half miles away. As Epperstone is in the catchment area for these schools, both offer school bus transport. There are other out-of-catchment primary schools in the nearby villages of Calverton and Woodborough, and the Minster Secondary School is in Southwell which is about 7 miles away.
