Description: Ensemble Pi is a socially conscious new music group founded by Idith Korman in 2002 with the goal of using music to foster critical conversations and incite social change. The group regularly collaborates with activists and artists of all kinds to create interdisciplinary performances around important contemporary social issues.
For the upcoming season, we are excited to present three new concerts and a new recording. These projects feature a range of pieces that tackle socio-political issues, support women artists, and feature new commissions from a wide range of contemporary composers.
