Description: EMSTAR strives to support programs and training that improve the quality of life for those living in our community. We are a resource to fire departments and ambulance service providers regarding EMS systems. We work in the development and delivery of educational programs to the region.
EMSTAR is a not-for-profit 501c3 organization, first established in the early 1980’s as the Southern Tier Region’s Program Agency for Emergency Medical Services. Today, EMSTAR remains as the designated program agency as well and providing a host of educational programs to help better serve the needs of the Emergency Responders within the greater Southern Tier Region of New York State. The primary service area includes, Chemung, Schuyler and Steuben Counties.
