I am an interdisciplinary researcher, specializing in environmental monitoring. I focus on the development and utilization of sensing technologies, from nano-sensors to satellite remote sensing. In my current work, I am exploring the status of environmental challenges associated with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, on both local and global scales. I am also engaged in developing sustainable green solutions by employing advanced technologies, including machine learning and nanotechnology.
I began conducting scientific research at the age of 15, working on the development of sensors for online detection of water pollution. Over the years, I have worked in biology, chemistry, physics and geoscience labs. I am an International Space University alumna and was previously an IBM Watson Scholar.
I am passionate about promoting STEM education, especially among girls. I have collaborated with both industry and academia to develop and implement educational tools and programs tailored to teenagers.
