Description: The Global Emergency Medicine Group Edinburgh is dedicated to the sustainable development of emergency care globally. Using research as a tool, GEM endeavour to give clinicians the skills to question their care outcomes, to sustainably reduce both morbidity and mortality in their population.

Established in 2016, Global Emergency Medicine is a branch of the Emergency Medicine Research Group of Edinburgh (EMERGE)
We believe that to produce long term and sustainable emergency care systems we must instill local staff with the skills required to run, develop and improve their own healthcare system.
