Emergency Response was founded by Ben Mihm — a retired homicide detective with the Glendale Police Department. After Mihm was injured in the line of duty, he was forced to retire after more than 20 years as a police officer. While recovering, Mihm created a service to provide emergency services to address the special needs of the community and law enforcement.
