As a response to a divine call, Mary W. Guenzel's mission was to provide a place of respite for those seeking a break from the noise and haste of the world and to reconnect with God. Here on 70 acres amid the Pike National Forest, she established a retreat center for parish groups, community church organizations, couples, and individuals.
Mary's gift provides retreatants a home-like atmosphere in each of our facilities. Both Annunciation and Visitation Halls offer a peaceful and hospitable atmosphere. She has designed Seraphim Hermitages especially for individuals, couples, and small group silent retreats. Casa Jose is a specially appointed facility offering a quiet atmosphere for 1-2 individuals or couples.
