In 2019, around Christmas, Ilse decided to quit her job as a Sales Manager and to focus 100% on music. As a bass player , she regularly performs with various bands, but Covid-19 suddenly paralyses the entire music world. Times are getting hard for musicians. Because Ilse is a go-getter at such a moment, she decides to make use of the free time to pick up an old passion again: composing piano music .
Composing goes so smoothly that Ilse "out of the blue" has finished eight songs. This is how the idea arose to release CD "Out of the Blue" under the stage name " Elisabeth Wolf " to distinguish from Ilse as a bass player. Ilse is short for the name Elisabeth and Wolf comes from her mother's surname De Wolf.
The CD is intended as a way point of light in dark times and to inspire everyone to realize their dreams in these challenging times.
