Cooperatives provide education and training for their members, elected representatives, managers, and employees so they can contribute effectively to the development of their cooperatives. They inform the general public – particularly young people and opinion leaders – about the nature and benefits of co-operation.
Edu4all.coop gathers a variety of knowledge initiatives and training tools that have been developed and coordinated under the umbrella of the ICA-EU partnership (#coops4dev🌏). All the educational materials are easily accessible and ranging from open source tools to interactive resources for lifelong learning. The aim of this is to:
Cooperatives Give the power in business to people Cooperatives are people-centred enterprises owned, controlled, and run by the members to achieve their common economic, social, and cultural needs and aspirations. Cooperatives bring people together in a democratic and equal way, directed by “one member, one vote” principle. Through co-ownership and inclusive governance, coops give the power in business back to people & their communities.
